The Sidekicks have unveiled their new 7" for Whoa Oh Records. Sam will feature songs like "The Island" (streaming via the band's MySpace page) and "Bryant Gregst (Gets Nervous)" (which you can stream from the label's). The four song release will come with downloadable songs and will be available on grey marbled vinyl.
The band will perform with Lemuria on October 12th in both Lakewood and Columbus, Ohio. Following those shows they'll appear at October 18th's Red Oktoberfest in Chicago with the Falcon and Methadones. Like most bands of good character, they'll head down to the Fest in Gainesville in time for Halloween.

Supergroup United Nations are now streaming their debut full length online at MySpace. Head there to check out the 11 song collection. The project features Geoff Rickly from Thursday, Daryl Palumbo of Glassjaw and Head Automatica, Chree from the Number 12 Looks Like You and Kiss It Goodbye's Eric Cooper.

Burlington, Ontario's Saint Alvia Cartel have posted the first track from their upcoming sophomore full length Between The Lines. You can check out the song, also titled "Between The Lines," at MySpace. The 13 song full length is expected in stores on on September 9th via the Union Label Group. You can check out the cover art here. The record hits stores just as the band embarks for a September tour across Canada with Against Me!.
Interestingly all the promotional material for the new record is calling the band Saint Alvia. So it looks like the group's shortening the ol' moniker.

These Arms Are Snakes have dropped the first song from their upcoming album. You can grab the song "Red Line Season" from Spinner.com or stream it at MySpace. The record is titled Tail Swallower & Dove and is due out October 07, 2008. It is the follow-up to Easter which was released in 2006.

Chuck Ragan has uploaded a cover of The Loved Ones track "Pretty Good Year" to his MySpace page. The track appears to come from the as-yet-unannounced Give and Take split 7" between the bands.
He also recently uploaded the track "Wash My Feet in the Waves" which will appear on The Revival Tour, an album to coincide with the tour of the same name.

Philly's Jena Berlin will be releasing their new 7" This Is Yours As Much As It Is Mine via Jump Start and its now available for preorder. The limited vinyl features two new tracks (complete with digital download) recorded by Vince Ratti (Zolof, Circa Survive, None More Black). You can check out "Great Plains" at the band's MySpace page and "Foolish Optimism" at Jump Start's MySpace.
The band's most recent LP Quo Vadimus is about to get the vinyl treatment via Ass-Card records in Europe. The band expects to have it for their upcoming european tour. Before their trek overseas, they'll be doing a five-day tour with Scream Hello and a few days with Static Radio NJ.

Senses Fail have posted a new song from their upcoming album. The record is titled Life is Not a Waiting Room and is due out October 07, 2008. It is the follow-up to Still Searching which was released in 2006.

TV On The Radio have announced plans to release their next album this Fall. The record is titled Dear Science and is due out September 23, 2008. It is their second major label album and the follow-up to Return to Cookie Mountain which was released in 2006.
