Geoff Rickly isn’t someone that on the surface I think I’d agree with. I’m not a fan of Thursday and I don’t like the way he spells his name. Nevertheless, his recent article on the state of underground music and how the line between what is mainstream and authentically subversive is being constantly blurred struck a chord with me.
