How has On The Might Of Princes stayed off my radar until now? This is the big question that I keep posing to myself after each subsequent listen of Sirens, OTMOP's third LP and first on Revelation Records. The music this New York quartet brings to the table is wholly fresh and original, but still in touch with it's roots. And I'm digging it, big time. Please login or register to post comments. I just busted this out the other day. Its good stuff. Eu sunt Marius frate ! Din radauti !! Bv ai facut treaba buna ;) funny that the guy below me should say that they're gonna break up... This is going to be my favourite CD!!!! i love this band and i love this album, great songs on here all though not as consistent as the "where you are and where you want to be" album. Shai still owns. TWBIT is still the best CD Revelation released this year. seems that way, good band. Great album...just like their previous stuff. I like the music when your just not knowing what to expect. Shitty thing is, they're on revelation...so they'll probably break up soon...just like shai hulud and elliott and drowningman and will haven and in my eyes....cursed??? you know i've got a fucking point - Coldjuly. "on the might of princes is the best band on long island. period." its my guess that theres only one guy who doesnt like this band who keeps posting a whole bunch of crap. hes not to bright. anyone who enjoys this band should be shot in the face it's fucking brilliant. start to finish, and then including the hidden track. yeah. a great cd. Twelve Hour Turn > jesus hey, homophobia is cool. these faggots should go back to hell where they belong. this cd is fucking great. Open up wide...this band is brilliant... this score is for the two ingenius posters below me, so creative... nice cover fags. fuck this band the album is okay but certainly not as good as their last one, which is 10 times better than this record. i may have to disagree with your last line. since by man is the best rev record of this year. this isn't so bad. pop-rock in an aggressive manner is what i heard in my ears. Scott...how you can dislike the new shai hulud album is beyond me. That album is so terribly underated. Still the best release of the year. Sirens is a solid record, but not as good as "where you are and where you want to be". these guys are easily one of the worst bands i've ever listened to. boring, boring music. These guys totally ripped off Dead moon rising on a Burning Sun in December. But then again they are better than Ashes Rise in Autumn to the Stars. When I open the "here come the sirens" mp3, Windows media player says it's Master P (Ghetto Dope) I Miss my homies. I thought that was funny. on the might of princes is the best band on long island. period. instrumentals* I wasn't a fan of their older stuff much at all but I guess I'll consider checking out some of this. They bored me when I saw them at this house-show; halfway through the first song I shook my head in disappointment and sat outside. It's those winded instruments that just kill it sometimes... About time someone else other than I hear the Twelve Hour Turn influence in this band, and that is not a bad thing. I have to say this is the best album of the year, that is just my opinion. Definitely better than Since By Man, it's just as intense but more diverse musically. Better than Since By Man? i dunno, better than the new hulud? =/ |
