so, if i'm stoned, will i like it? No big deal if your always stoned. Let me reiterate: Ambient experimental doom noise metal fucking sucks. For some reason in the last few years it's become really popular, and it's boring as all fuck. Now, stoners playing/listening to metal is nothing new, but this stuff has no energy or passion. It's all basically identical. Big surprise, Will bashes another good band. And how exactly are metalheads becoming more like hippies? Also, why is that necessarily bad? Score is for Will's comment. Dude, Will, chill out. Don't gots to be so serious about musics. I swear, metalheads are becoming more like hippies than ever. This music is bullshit. I've been waiting for this release since it was posted months ago. The two tracks I heard sounded very similar to Old Man Gloom, but that's okay because OMG has released some of the best albums I've ever heard (even with the random tracks). I think I'm going to like the softer Cave In styled songs as well, because with no more Cave In right now I need my fix. Great review. Great artwork too. old man gloom was alright. cave in are great. i'll check this out. it better be worth the cave in hiatus, because i definitely wasn't feeling stephen brodsky's super hippie feelgood adventure. sounds great...love the album art too. Thats the second review from you thats impressed me in a row.. I haven't wanted to actually buy an album in a while and I wouldn't mind purchasing this without hearing it beforehand from what I hear GAR! I can't be dissapointed in this release! I just can't! But I kind of am, good call on the songs not really going anywhere....stylistically this rules i'm a huge cave in fan, i'll definitely be checking this out. Stylistically, this album is friggin' awesome. |
