The Girls The Girls have announced tour plans in support of their upcoming full length Dirtnap release Yes No Yes No Yes No. The Seattle quintet will perform at Bumbershoot at the end of the month then hit the road in mid September with shows scheduled into October. On their way the group will meet up with acts like Flogging Molly, the Pink Spiders and Ben Weasel. Click below for the details.

At one time or another the Girls have featured members of the Briefs, the Spits, the Catheters, and the Cute Lepers. The band's current line up features vocalist Shannon Brown, guitarist Vas Kumar, bassist Griff, keyboardist Derek Mason and drummer Elie Goral.

Legendary folk / punk singer songwriter Billy Bragg will hit the road in the US this October. The band band will play a dozen shows along the eastern seaboard in support of his new full length Mr. Love and Justice. Click below for details.

Black Lips Atlanta's Black Lips will visit cities in Europe, Mexico, and the US (well, mostly California) in the coming months. Some highlights include a show at famous London nightclub Heaven with the The King Khan and BBQ Show, as well as festival appearances at Ireland's Electric Picnic and the Connect Festival in Scotland. The band is supporting their 2007 full length Good Bad Not Evil, which was released by Vice Records.

Vancouver's You Say Party! We Say Die! are getting set to hit the road in Canada in support of their upcoming digital-only remix project Remik's Cube. The band will play shows between Victoria and Halifax from late August through the end of October. Click below for the details. The band will be supported by labelmates Winter Gloves, as well as Quebec's Beast and Toronto's Lioness on selected dates.

You Say Party! is supporting last year's full length Lose All Time. The remix album Remix Cube, which features work by Montag, The Octopus Project, Wallpaper, RAC and others, hits online stores on August 26th via Paper Bag Digital.

The Swellers have sent us a list of their upcoming tourdates, starting next week and taking them all the way to das FESTENHÄGEN. The Michigan band will see stretches with Polar Bear Club in Canada and Streetlight Manifesto and The AKA's in the US. Check it out below by clicking Read More.

Ness last released Cheating At Solitaire and Under the Influences both in 1999. He recently announced plans to return to the studio next year with his bandmates in Social Distortion to rework on their followup to 2004's Sex, Love and Rock ’n’ Roll.

Canadian musical legend Neil Young has tapped the younger generation for his most recent outing, picking Wilco and Death Cab For Cutie as his opening bands.

Death Cab will be joining Young during mid-October and November with Wilco coming in mid-November and rounding out the rest of the tour in December.

Jolie Holland is setting out on tour this October in support of her upcoming album The Living and the Dead. Holland recorded the album with the aid of M. Ward (My Morning Jacket, She & Him) and Marc Ribot (Elvis Costello, Tom Waits) and is reportedly featuring a more "rock and roll" sound.

Holland last released Springtime Can Kill You in 2006.

Off With Their Heads just rocked San Francisco last night at the Knockout and we realized that we hadn't posted their West Coast dates. Joining them on this outing is BYO's Nothington, who have been playing some new songs while out.

After their West Coast journey, OWTH will be heading to Europe.

The band released From The Bottom earlier this year.

The Aggrolites are continuing their touring insanity after a brief one month post-Warped Tour hiatus. They'll be heading over to Europe for a couple weeks then coming back to the States for a four night Southern California homecoming including opening acts like the new pop reggae outfit Cipes and the People, led by actor Greg Cipes (Ghost Whisperer, Deadwood). They'll be on the East Coast in October (US and Canada) for appearances at CMJ with support from Everybody Out!, the new band featuring Rick Barton (Dropkick Murphys, the Outlets).

O Pioneers!!! are heading out in anticipation of their second full-length Neon Creeps - set to be released in later this year by Asian Man Records and Kiss of Death Records. They will be touring the west coast on the way to Awesome Fest 2 and then joining The Gaslight Anthem, American Steel, and Polar Bear Club for a short trek through the southeast.

The band recently released a split 7” with Austin’s The Anchor on Triumph of Life Records and is about to dropa split 7” with Mike Park on Suburban Home Records. Their revolving cast of members recently lost drummer Chris Ryan and replaced him with Aaron Ervin while adding Zack Klaine on bass.
